LibreOffice Writer

LibreOffice Writer is the word processor in the LibreOffice office suite. It is primarily used to create and edit text documents, but it can also open PDF files for limited editing by importing them through LibreOffice Draw and export documents directly to PDF.

It is used by individuals, public-sector organizations, and IT teams that need a free, open-source desktop document editor with broad document format support. A distinguishing trait is its integration in a full office suite while still providing built-in PDF export options such as tagged PDF, PDF/A, forms, comments, and password protection.
