DomPDF

DomPDF is an open-source PHP library that converts HTML and CSS into PDF documents on the server side. It is commonly used by PHP developers and web application teams to generate invoices, reports, labels, and other printable documents directly from application templates.

The library parses HTML, applies a subset of CSS, and renders the result to PDF without requiring an external browser service. A distinguishing trait is its tight fit with PHP-based workflows: teams can build PDFs from existing HTML views, but they must work within DomPDF’s limited CSS and layout support compared with full browser engines.
